SOE Minister Taps Dian Rachmawan as Pelindo I Chief

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Rini Sumarno has tapped Dian Rachmawan as the president director of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia 1 or Pelindo I.
Dian’s appointment was mentioned in the Decree No. SK/122/MBU/05/2019 inked by Rini on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
“The State-owned Enterprises Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia as the shareholder of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I appoints Dian Rachmawan as the president director of Pelindo I,” according to a written statement Tempo received on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Through the decree, the SOE minister also announced the end of service of Pelindo I’s previous president director Bambang Eka Cahyana, who had been in office since 2013.
The decree also mentioned the appointment of M. Hamied Wijaya as the human resources director of Pelindo I.
Dian Rachmawan was previously the director of enterprise business services of state-owned telecommunications company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia or Telkom since 2017. He was also the director of consumer services of PT Telkom from 2014-2017.
