Tangerang-Merak Toll Fare Discounted 15% during Eid Homecoming

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Tangerang-Merak toll road operator PT Marga Mandalasakti will apply a 15-percent discount on toll fare during 2019 Eid homecoming and returning season.
“We offer a discount of 15 percent as a form of service optimization for users of the Tangerang-Merak toll road,” said corporate president director Krist Ade Sudiyono on Monday, May 27.
According to Krist Ade, the promotion is a part of the deal of the Indonesian Toll Road Operators Association (ATI) that is valid for six days; on May 27-29 before the peak season of mass exodus and June 10-12 after the peak season.
He further appealed to toll road users to have enough balance on their toll cards and use the same electronic money cards when conducting transactions at toll gates.

In addition to the price cut, the corporate provided top-up facilities in a number of locations along the highway; non-cash/debit top-up at ten toll gates from the Cikupa toll gate to the Merak toll gate, cash top-up in the leftmost gate of the Serang Timur toll gate and the Cikupa 2 toll gate.
Moreover, toll road users could top-up their e-money cards at rest and service areas KM 43 and KM 68 heading to Merak as well as KM 45 and KM 68 heading to Jakarta through ATMs, certain retail shops, gas stations, and mobile reader services that were a program of Bank Indonesia in tandem with Himbara and BCA provided during Eid homecoming season.
