The police explained that the pilot, identified as “IR”, posted a statement on his Facebook account that inclined to showing fundamental radicalism akin to those of a jihadist. One of which, the police revealed, was a sentence stating that the suspect “could already smell the fragrance of heaven.”
Hengki said the police feared the post that went viral on social media accelerated into a doctrin and stirred chaos on the field. The post was also relative to the planned demonstration on May 22 against the announcement of the election results by the General Elections Commission (KPU).
