Garuda Indonesia Scores Best On-Time Performance Again

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned carrier Garuda Indonesia successfully maintained its positive global on-time performance (OTP) record of 95.5 percent thus exceeding more than 10,000 international flights according to OAG’s flight view in April.
Garuda’s Director of Operations Captain Bambang A. Angkasa said that the company managed to maintain its reputation and status since December 2018. This also makes Garuda the only Asian airliner successfully maintaining the statistic for five consecutive months.
“This achievement will prove to be a major challenge for the airlines upon entering the Ramadan Eid al Fitr peak season,” said Bambang in a press release on Sunday, May 12.

Garuda Indonesia’s success in maintaining the positive OTP statistic, he explained, is mainly due to the solid cooperation across Garuda’s operational teams upon providing customers its top-notch services.
“We also would like to express our appreciation to every one of Garuda Indonesia`s customers who continues to support Garuda Indonesia’s on-time flight performance,” said Bambang.
