Democrat's Andi Arief: The Bald Devil Has Misled Prabowo

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Democrat Party secretary-general Andi Arief quipped through one his tweet today about a “devil” that had misled Prabowo Subianto and his campaign team into believing that they won the presidential election by 62 percent.
“The bald devil (setan gundul) is the one that misled them into believing a 62 percent win,” Andi Arief tweeted via his account @AndiArief on Monday, May 6.
Andi maintained that the Democrat Party would only side with the people and continue its coalition with the Gerindra Party, PAN, PKS, and Berkarya Party.

“If Pak Prabowo chooses to subordinate the coalition to these bald devils, the Democrat Party will take its own path that doesn’t betray the people,” Andi continued in his tweet.
As to the individual or group that Andi Arief was referring to, Tempo tried to reach him but yet to receive answers from the party's higher-ups.
Meanwhile, the party’s head of legal division, Ferdinand Hutahaean, defended his colleague’s tweet as it represented the Democrat’s refusal to further mislead Prabowo with questionable data regarding the election.
