TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Prabowo-Sandiaga volunteers of information and technology filed more reports on the data verification results of the Election Commission’s (KPU) vote count information system (Situng) to the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu).
Volunteer coordinator Mustofa Nahrawardaya said his team found 73,715 data entry errors on the system or 15.4 percent of the total 477,021 polling stations (TPS) that had been recorded.
“This is a brutal blunder. The highest tolerance limit for data errors on the IT system is 0.1 percent. We found the errors up to 15.4 percent,” said Mustofa in the Bawaslu building, Central Jakarta, Friday, May 3.

According to Mustofa, most of the faults occurred at 7,600 TPS in Central Java; 5,826 TPS in East Java; 4,327 TPS in North Sumatra; 3,296 TPS in South Sumatra; and 3,219 TPS in South Sulawesi.
On May 2, advocate director of the Prabowo-Sandiaga campaign team, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, submitted a report and demanded the KPU stop its Situng following his team’s findings on alleged electoral frauds.
Responding to the reports, Bawaslu member Rahmat Bagja said his side required 14 days to verify pieces of evidence presented by the campaign team. According to him, the case will be studied further and followed-up on in a plenary meeting.
