Homecoming 2019; Trans Java Toll to Apply One-way Traffic Policy

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government is set to implement the one-way traffic policy at Trans Java toll road during the homecoming and return trips of Eid al-Fitr holiday 2019.
“The president always says to improve the service for the people who travel for homecoming every year. This year, most of the infrastructure that has been built is fully operable," said presidential chief of staff Moeldoko as quoted from setkab.go.id on Friday, April 26.
The one-way policy was set to be implemented for the traffic heading to the east on May 31 until June 2, and to the west on June 8-10, at 07:00 until 24:00 Western Indonesia Time at Trans Java line from Cikampek to the east at kilometer 240 or 260.
"It will be implemented based on the actual condition," said the operational assistant of National Police chief Insp. Gen. Rudy Sufahriadi.
President Director of state toll road operator Jasa Marga, Desi Arryani, said that the one-way traffic policy will become a breakthrough in helping her agency in providing a smooth and safety traffic for homecomers and toll road users.
