Sandiaga Uno Looks Forward to Meeting Ma'ruf Amin

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Prabowo Subianto's presidential election running-mate Sandiaga Uno openly admits he is eager to meet his fellow vice presidential candidate rival Ma'ruf Amin.
He claimed that it is a long plan that has yet come to fruition.
"It has been more than eight months starting from August, I first requested it through Ustad Yusuf Mansur but have yet received any response," said Sandiaga at a cafe in Ciputat, South Tangerang on Thursday, April 25, 2019 .
The Vice Presidential candidate compared the meeting to a situation where a student is longing to meet a respected Kyai (Islamic cleric) for moral wisdom.
"[I'm ready anytime], if I get a call right now from him I would go and meet [Ma'ruf Amin]," said Sandiaga who maintained that such meeting would not be politically motivated.
