KPK Searches Home of South Solok Regent

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the house of South Solok Regent Muzni Zakaria on Thursday, April 25 2019. Official says the search was related to a corruption investigation.
KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah confirmed the search in a text message, but did not elaborate on the case in question.
"Our field officers are still working. We will provide a more detailed information related to the case and the suspects later," he said.
Antara reported that KPK officers arrived at Muzni's home in North Padang on Thursday morning. One of the local residents, Teguh Ilhamda, said four officers entered the house at 08:00 WIB.
"Two officers were dressed in police uniforms and two others were wearing KPK vests," he said.
Teguh said Muzni visits the house that was searched every week.
The KPK team searched the house for four hours. They left the house in a black minivan at around 12:00, carrying two suitcases with them.
