TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) said it had investigated the error on data input of C1 vote tally forms in the polling station (TPS) 93 in Bidara Cina, East Jakarta.
East Jakarta Bawaslu commissioner, Tami Widi Astuti, said the inconsistent data that beset the candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno was caused by human error.
“The election commission (KPU) said their officers recorded wrong data. The data was swapped with those from other TPS,” said Tami when contacted on Sunday, April 21.

Based on the C1 vote tally forms, Prabowo - Sandi gained 162 votes and Jokowi - Ma'ruf earned 47 votes in TPS 93 Bidara Cina. However, on the KPU’s site, votes for the candidate number 02 reduced to 56, while the incumbent obtained higher votes at 180.
Tami underlined the KPU’s operators confused on data from TPS 93 Bidara Cina and TPS 93 Cipinang Cempedak. “Both are located in Jatinegara district,” she added.
According to Tami, Bawaslu immediately investigated the finding following the public report in light of the alleged electoral fraud. “It has been corrected.”
The Prabowo - Sandi campaign team head of Jakarta, Muhammad Taufik, believed the error was intentional, and so his team was still collecting other alleged frauds in the 2019 Indonesia election.
