People Cheer at Jokowi's Visit to Grand Indonesia Mall

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential Hopeful Joko Widodo visited Grand Indonesia (GI) mall in Central Jakarta on Saturday, April 20. He had lunch at the food court on GI's level 5.
Wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, he arrived at around 13:30 when hundreds of mall visitors gathered at the Amartha Lobby, the gate where the incumbent enter.
People cheered "President! President!," when he arrived. Some even asked for photographs with him.
He was accompanied by chief of Jokowi-Ma'ruf campaign team, Erick Thohir. This was Widodo's first visit to the public area after the election day on April 17.
The incumbent has declared his winning in the presidential contestation based on the quick count results released by several survey agencies. However, the president asked for the public to wait for the real count result from the General Election Commission (KPU).
