TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The national campaign team (TKN) for Joko “Jokowi” Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin officially filed complaints against a number of Overseas Elections Committee (PPLN) teams to the General Elections Supervisory Board (Bawaslu).
TKN’s report on Monday, April 15, was against alleged elections fraud done systematically in at least six countries.
The team’s director of legal affairs and advocacy Ade Irfan Pulungan said the team had to file the complaint to urge the Bawaslu on conducting an investigation on a number of overseas election clutter, which the team maintains is based on reports from Indonesians living abroad.

“We received official reports at our posts which were mostly from Indonesian nationals currently living abroad. Especially in Sydney, that is the place where suspected election fraud and violations were most prominent,” said Ade Irfan after filing the complaint at the Bawaslu headquarters in Central Jakarta, on Monday.
Ade urged Bawaslu to quickly get to the bottom of the elections clutter in Sydney, Australia, and five other countries experiencing elections hiccups.
“Whether this was massively done by some groups deliberately to disrupt the elections or whether it is because of the limited overseas elections committee resources,” said Ade.
