Jokowi Meets with Saudi Arabia`s King Salman

  • TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, according to information quoted by Antara, Sunday from the Saudi Arabian News Agency (SPA).

    King Salman welcomed President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the Indonesian delegation in the kingdom. President Joko Widodo expressed his joy to be able to visit Saudi Arabia and met with the Guardians of the Two Holy Mosques.

    At the meeting the President shook hands with the princes, ministers, as well as senior civilian and military officials who came to greet him.

    King Salman held a luncheon to honor the Indonesian President and the delegation. The event were attended by Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid; Governor of the Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Prince Khalid bin Saad bin Fahd; the Presiding Adviser of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Preserver Adviser of Two Holy Mosques Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutib bin Abdulaziz; and Adviser in the Royal Court Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed.

    Other officials who met President Joko Widodo were the Governor of Diriyah Province, Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman; Adviser in the Royal Court Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammed; Advisor to the Guard of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz; and Adviser in the Royal Court Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz.

    In addition there were also Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Assistant Chief of General Intelligence Prince Bandar bin Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; and Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
