TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The presidential debate tonight, April 13, to be once again held at The Sultan Hotel and Residence. Ahead of the final election debate, the hotel occupancy reached 100 percent.

“We're, indeed, expecting a full house, even until to the residence serviced apartment,” said the hotel's Manager of Marketing Communication to Tempo, Saturday, April 13.

Indira claimed that there was a hike in room occupancy even though the exact number could not be translated, saying that the situation is different from previous weekends.

All types of hotel rooms and even penthouses at the Sultan have been booked since Thursday until Sunday, April 14. Currently, the hotel only provides apartment studios at the price starting from Rp1.8 million per night.

Indira said several national celebrities who will participate at the presidential debate booked rooms at the hotel.

The Sultan Hotel has been appointed as the debate venue for three times. The joint authorities; consist of presidential security officers, Indonesian Army (TNI), and the National Police (Polri), will tightly secure the location tonight.

The security team will guard locations near the election debate area including Senayan and Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).
