TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pollster Saiful Mujani Research Center (SMRC) has released its latest survey on the electability rate of presidential tickets Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin and Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno. The survey was conducted on April 5-8.
The survey found that Prabowo-Sandiaga’s electability rose to 37 percent in March compared to the previous 31.8 percent in February.
“There is a positive movement from Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno from 31.8 to 37 percent. It grew by 5.2 percent,” said SMRC research director Deni Irvani on Friday.
According to Deni, the rise is attributable to the number of undecided voters that the pair managed to lure since his data showed that the undecided voters had been reduced to 6.3 percent from the previous 10.6 percent.

Meanwhile, SMRC reports that the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin ticket has shown a stable trend by hovering at 56.8 percent compared to 57.6 percent in February.
However, Deni said the chances were remote that Prabowo could overtake Jokowi with the remaining 6.3 percent of undecided voters. He predicted that undecided voters were inclined to vote for Prabowo, yet Jokowi would remain victorious.
