TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) reportedly is headed to Jakarta in an attempt to help solve numerous problems currently facing the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).
This announcement was mentioned in the letter from the FIFA Head of Member Associations Governance Services Lucia Nicola in response to the Ministry of Youth and Sports' Secretary Gatot S. Dewa Broto on Tuesday, April 9.
Lucia mentioned in the letter of FIFA’s plan to travel to Jakarta on April 10 and April 11 to help PSSI solve its problems.
FIFA’s letter is a response to a previous letter sent by Gatot to FIFA on requesting a meeting with the international federation. "We are glad that FIFA is to send delegates for talks with the Indonesian government about the PSSI which is facing difficulties at present," Gatot wrote in the letter.
