TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s public campaign in Tangerang on Sunday, April 7, utilized holograms made by local youths dubbed the “Karnaval Indonesia Satu” or the Carnival of United Indonesia.
“That was our own home-made hologram [technology] by Indonesia’s youths. So don’t compare it to international-level holograms,” said Jokowi at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in South Tangerang on Sunday night.
In the area, the incumbent presidential candidate also appeared in the declaration of support by sports group "Komunitas Olahraga Bersatu" or the United Sports Community and youth influencers for the support towards the disabled called "Pemuda Influencer Disabilitas."

Besides the holograms, Jokowi’s campaign in South Tangerang also featured art and culture performances from across Indonesia.
Jokowi wanted to remind people in his campaign that the presidential election was a democratic festivity that should be celebrated with delight and things that promote unity, brotherhood, and harmony.
“We should not lose orientation just because of the presidential election or legislative elections. Losing our orientation is getting stuck in slander wars, hoax, and lies. We should eliminate all of those now and in the future. The democratic festivity is all about joy,” said Jokowi.
