Prabowo Confident of Winning Presidential Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto has expressed optimism that he would be able to win 2019 presidential election.

"Brothers and sisters, i am very optimistic that we will win the presidential election," Prabowo Subianto said during a grand campaign at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on Sunday.

Millions of people have packed the soccer field at the stadium and its surrounding during Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair's grand campaign.

Prabowo underlined that he focused on working and fighting for the people of Indonesia when advancing in the 2019 Presidential Election.

Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party Prabowo Subianto stressed that he was not willing to see the Indonesian people still struggling to eat and having difficulty to find a job.

Prabowo was convinced that the majority of the Indonesian people expected changes through the 2019 presidential election.

Supporters of Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair began to pack the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) in Jakarta early Sunday ahead of the pair's grand campaign.

"To ladies and gentlemen who have just arrived, please get into the stadium since the doors are already open," one of the event's organizers earlier said.

By 03:00 a.m. on Sunday, tens of thousands of people have packed the soccer field at the stadium. Some of them sat on the tribune, Antara observed.

The 2019 presidential election was followed by two pairs of candidates, Jokowi-Ma`ruf and Prabowo-Sandiaga.
