Anies Provides Shuttle Buses from Park and Ride to MRT Station

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said city-run bus operator PT Transjakarta would provide shuttle buses connecting Park and Ride site to MRT Lebak Bulus Station. Anies said the bus would operate regularly.
“We will provide regular buses there, so MRT users can park their vehicles and board MRT,” said Anies at Kedaung Kaliangke 03 state elementary school (SDN), Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Friday, April 5.
With the bus provision, MRT users will not have to walk for 200 meters to reach MRT Lebak Bulus station from the parking lot. As for the shuttle bus operation, Anies referred reporters to PT Transjakarta.

Anies asserted that integrated transportation was necessary to encourage people to use public transportation. “So when we construct, we have to remember that people need public transportation,” he added.
The Jakarta provincial administration has provided park and ride points near MRT Lebak Bulus Station and Fatmawati Station. Both have been operative since Sunday, March 24.
