TEMPO.CO, Cirebon - Presidential candidate and incumbent Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo wants to get more than 75 percent of votes in the Regency and City of Cirebon. Jokowi said that in the 2014 elections when he was paired with Jusuf Kalla, he only got 61 percent of the city's votes.
"In 2019 we want more than 75 in Cirebon, agree?" Jokowi said while campaigning in Gebang Mekar Village, Cirebon Regency, Friday, April 5.
Jokowi also said that he intends to win in West Java Province.
Jokowi requested for the "militancy" of his supporters to carry on until April 17, and asked voters to come to the voting booths wearing whites.
He also plead to his supporters to fight against slanders, hoaxes, and false news that can influence voters. The society, said Jokowi, must dare to straighten false information.
In addition to Cirebon, Jokowi also aims to get high votes in Brebes, Tegal Regency and Banyumas. In the open campaign on Thursday, April 4, Jokowi said he is targeting more than 80 percent in Brebes, 75 percent in Tegal, and 80 percent in Banyumas.
