Surveys Pit Jokowi at 50 Percent against Prabowo 30 Percent

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The presidential elections is less than two weeks away. Survey agencies have been releasing their poll results to predict the outcome.
Three agencies released their latest survey result for the popularity of candidates Joko Widodo or Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin and Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno.
Indo Barometer, Lingkaran Survei Indonesia Denny Januar Ali (LSI Denny JA), and Indikator Politik Indonesia, all showed that Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin is more popular than Prabowo-Sandiaga.
Indo Barometer's survey from March 15-28 took in 1,200 respondents. Their poll showed that Jokowi-Ma’ruf has 50.8 percent electability while Prabowo-Sandiaga got 32 percent. The remaining 17.2 percent was indecisive.
LSI Denny JA's result showed Jokowi-Ma'ruf winning against Prabowo-Sandiaga by 56.8-63.2 to 36.8-43.2 percent. Their survey was held from March 18-26.
Meanwhile, Indikator Politik Indonesia (IPI) survey revealed Jokowi-Ma'ruf leading by 55.4 percent against Prabowo-Sandiaga's 37.4 percent. IPI's survey was held from March 22-29.
