BMKG: No Tsunami in Bali Sea's 5-Magnitude Earthquake

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that an earthquake scaling up to Magnitude 5.0 hit the Bali Sea earlier this morning.
The epicenter of the earthquake was known to be from the depth of 10 kilometers just 84 kilometers Southeast of Sumenep, 111 kilometers West of Buleleng Sea, and 172 kilometers Northwest of Bali, Denpasar.

The agency also reported that the earthquake will not spark a tsunami. The quake itself was scaled at II MMI in the area of Denpasar and Singaraja, which means that it was detectable by a small number of people but was able to be picked up by the equipment in the area.
