Govt Sets Rp5tn Target for 6th Retail Bond Offering

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government will issue the sixth series of saving bonds or the SBR 006. The offering period stars today, April 1 and ends on April 16.
The government set an indicative target of Rp5 trillion. Once the bond's coupon reaches the maximum target, the public will have no access to purchase it.

The Finance Ministry's director of state securities, Loto S Ginting, said today that the retail bonds are offered for a price of Rp1 million.
The SBR has a floating with floor minimum of 7.95 percent. The coupon rate is adjusted accordingly with changes of the BI 7 Day Reverse Repo (7DRR) Rate every three months.
The three-year bond will mature on April 10, 2012.
