TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Vice President Director Henry Tanato gave a brief statement hinting on entering the Toyota Supra into the Indonesian market.
In a brief statement, Henry only hinted on bringing-in cars with a good history behind it.
“Be patient, we have plans on bringing cars that have a good history. One of it is indeed Supra,” said Henry in Jakarta last week.

Toyota’s recent sports car and successor of the well-known Supra line up will be positioned in the luxury sports car market that currently sells about 7,000 units monthly.
However, he said that Toyota would most certainly study the market prior to introducing the sports model so that it would not disrupt the established premium segment introduced by Lexus.
“Each model introduced by us is certainly researched for what impact it would create. But for the Toyota Supra, just be patient,” said the VP Director.
