Aetra Tangerang Raises Investment to Rp822bn

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Private water company Aetra Air Tangerang said the management has invested Rp822.2 billion. The figure exceeded their initial target set by the Tangerang Regency government.
Aetra CEO Edy Hari Sasono said the Tangerang government set the investment target at Rp588 billion at the beginning of the partnership with the company.
In 2018, the company increased its investment by Rp41.2 billion to develop drinking water system and services in Tangerang, he added.
"In addition to that, Aetra Tangerang also has numerous programs to help the public get drinking water through pipes, he said on Friday.
To date, Aetra Tangerang has served more than 71,000 customers.
For 2019, the company will focus on expanding their services, for which they have allocated an investment of Rp37.3 billion.
