10,000 Businesspersons Declare Support for Jokowi - Ma'ruf

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Thousands of entrepreneurs who call themselves the Pro-Jokowi Workers and Businessmen (KerJo) declared support for president and vice president candidates Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin for the 2019 elections.
The declaration was held at the Senayan Sporting Center tonight, attendant by the man they support, incumbent Joko Widodo.

KerJo counselor Sofjan Wanandi said the declaration is their effort to have businesses have a role in determining the future of the nation.
"We are tired of being followers. We feel like we need to step up," he said in a press conference in Jakarta, March 21.
The business actors joined in KerJo, Sofjan added, believe that Jokowi's administration has given clear direction heading towards economic stability.
"We already know what Jokowi will do. As for the other party, we have no idea," he said.
