TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An earthquake with magnitude 4.6 shook Jayapura, Papua, this morning, March 8, at 03:23 Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT).
The center of the quake was at 48 km northwest of Jayapura or 2.15 South Latitude and 140.43 East Longitude. The hypocenter was at 10 km, as stated by BMKG.

The earthquake was felt at III MMI level in Jayapura and its vicinity.
There has been no report of casualty or damage due to the earthquake.
