Soekarno-Hatta Airport`s North Perimeter Road Inaugurated Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) announced that the new North Perimeter Road of Soekarno-Hatta Airport will be inaugurated today, March 1. However, the road access from Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency and Selapajang, Tangerang City to the airport and vice versa have not yet opened for 24 hours.
The airport’s Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal, Febri Toga Simatupang, explained that the road will be temporarily operable for 12 hours a day.

“The North Perimeter Road is opened tomorrow (Friday, March 1) starting 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.,” said Febri in a statement, Thursday evening, February 28.
Outside the operational hour, he added, people can pass the existing North Perimeter Road that is still opened all day. “We still open the old North Perimeter Road,” Febri noted.
He further appealed to the public to be careful while passing the new road and mind the signs along the road.
Earlier, AP II relocated Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s North Perimeter Road to a new one due to the construction project of the airport`s third runway.
