TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The former Manager for Persibara Banjarnegara soccer team Lasmi Indriyani shockingly confessed of receiving threats and intimidation after revealing the large systemic match-fixing practice.
Lasmi suspects that the intimidations are attempts to silence her from further revealing the truth behind the scandal shrouding Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI). Lasmi said she has already reported her experience to Police’s anti-soccer mafia task force.
“The point is that I received many intimidations meant to shut me up. There were several terrors too,” said Lasmi at the Metro Jaya Police’s general crimes directorate today, Feb. 27.
Asked upon possible perpetrators, Lasmi said that she has no clue about the people behind the terrors against her. This fact was revealed by Lasmi at a known investigative broadcast Mata Najwa.
“Maybe they hope that by intimidating me I would revoke my police report,” she said.
The match-fixing scandal incriminated several people from the PSSI and named 16 people as suspects.
