The women are Engqay Sugiyanti, Ika Peranika, and Citra Widaningsih. A video displaying them inviting people to not voting for Jokowi - Ma’ruf went viral on social media which was posted on a Twitter account @citrawida5.

In the video, a woman speaking in Sundanese language ran a door-to-door campaign, convincing people that Jokowi would forbid azan (Islamic call to prayer) and allow same-sex marriage.

However, Nuredy stopped short to further explain the current status of the women, adding that investigation on the matter was under the authority of West Java Police.

A spokesperson for Jokowi - Ma'ruf campaign team, Dedek Prayudi on Sunday, stated that the video was serious defamation using religious sentiment to attack the incumbent candidate.
