TEMPO.CO, JakartaJoko Driyono, the acting chief of the Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI), has undergone two police examinations as a suspect. During the probe, Joko admitted to tampering, destroying, and eliminating evidence related to the match-fixing case.

“He admits to being an intellectual actor who ordered the three other suspects,” said National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo on Friday in his office, South Jakarta.

Joko Driyono allegedly destroyed several documents related to the case currently investigated by the police’s anti-soccer mafia task force. However, Dedi added, Joko stopped short of detailing the contents of the documents.
