TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice Presidential candidate Ma'ruf Amin announced that he is ready to participate in the third presidential debate on March 17, which will see vice presidential candidates pitted against each other.

According to Jokowi’s running mate, he has prepped himself to adhere to the new debate procedure set by the General Elections Commission (KPU).

“We will follow KPU’s rule. How they want it and what the decision will be, we will adhere to it,” said Ma’ruf Amin in Makassar, Thursday, February 21.

The third presidential debate will talk about issues related to education, health, employment, social and cultural issues.

“There is nothing to be worried about the upcoming debate,’ said Ma'ruf Amin.
