BMKG: Rain to Shower All of Jakarta Area

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasted rain to fall on all over Jakarta today, February 15. Rain with light to moderate intensity is potential to shower the city from noon to evening.

"Be aware of moderate rain with lightning and strong wind in South and East Jakarta between afternoon and night," BMKG stated on its official website.

The rain is expected to stop on early Saturday, even though thick clouds will still covering the sky.

The temperature is expected to be at around 25-30 degrees Celcius with the humidity of 70-95 percent.

The rain, BMKG said, will also be showering the cities surrounding the Jakarta capital, which include Tangerang, Bekasi, Depok, and Bogor.
