Pertamina Hulu Discovers Oil Reserves

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The joint-operating body (JOB) of Bumi Siak Pusako - Pertamina Hulu (BOB) discovered oil reserves from the Benewangi well. This oil reserve is the result of a well drilling conducted since December 22, 2018.
Pertamina Hulu Energi exploration director Abdul Mutalib Masdar and the management of Bumi Siak Pusako said that the discovery will increase the JOB's production.
“Judging from the existing condition, we can soon conduct commercialization of POP (put on production), and we must immediately hold an evaluation so we can drill other wells near Benewangi ini” Abdul said in a written statement Monday, February 11.
Meanwhile, the general manager of BSP - Pertamina Hulu JOB Riry Wurestya Hady said they will not stop looking for more reserves "to increase national production to be enjoyed by the Indonesian people," Riry said.
