TEMPO.CO, Karanganyar - The spokesperson of the Prabowo-Sandiaga campaign team, Ferry Juliantono, claimed the pair's electability rate in Central Java was showing an upward trend following multiple activities and campaigns in the province.
In the past week, the electability rate of incumbent president Joko Widodo or Jokowi reportedly dropped 2 percent in the region. “I think the decline is not that small,” said Ferry in Karanganyar, Friday, February 8.
Ferry believed Jokowi’s electability rate had slipped by 4 percent, “in balance with the increased electability rate of Prabowo.” Meanwhile, undecided voters remained at 17-20 percent.

Ferry said Prabowo's rising electability rate in Central Java was attibutable to his camp's penetration into the province in the past few months. “Central Java has become the main focus of the Prabowo-Sandiaga ticket's activities,” Ferry said.
According to him, the electability rate of the Prabowo-Sandiaga pair would continue to increase ahead of the presidential election. “I believe the figure will cross the incumbent’s [electability rate],” he said.
