Prabowo Camp Not Object to KPU's Plan in 2nd Election Debate

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The spokesman of Prabowo - Sandiaga campaign team, Muhammad Syafii, said that they did not object the plan of the General Election Commission (KPU) to play a short video during the second presidential election debate.
“As long as [the video] still relates to what the president and vice president candidate should do when leading Indonesia later, I think such methods are not a problem,” said Syafii in the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, February 7.
The KPU earlier announced that it would insert short videos about the theme of the debate on February 17, namely natural resources, food, energy, environment, and infrastructure. The commissioner Arief Budiman said that the candidate pair will be asked to respond to the video.
According to the politician of the Gerindra Party, the video will not be an issue as long as it has relevance to questions given by the moderator for candidates.
The second presidential election debate will be held in Sultan Hotel, Jakarta. Anisha Dasuki and Tommy Tjokro will moderate the event that will be aired on TV stations namely RCTI, Inews, MNC TV, dan Global TV.
