Ahok to Marry Puput; Marriage Documents Prepared

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The marriage rumor of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok and Police Second Brig. Puput Nastiti Devi is coming to be true.
Pasir Gunung Selatan sub-district head Aslih Sinten confirmed that the family of the would-be bride had prepared the marriage documents. Puput used to be aide of Ahok’s former wife, Veronica Tan.
“All documents are prepared as requirements of marriage,” Aslih told Tempo, Thursday, January 24.
The marriage plan of Ahok or BTP and Puput Nastiti Devi or Bripda Puput was brought up since the former Jakarta Governor served his jail sentence. Ahead of his release, the rumor was backed up by the statement of Jakarta Legislative Council speaker Prasetio Edi Marsudi.
Prasetio said that BTP would get married on February 15, 2019. “He [Ahok] will be married in Jakarta, and I will be a witness for them,” he said on Friday, January 18.
