Basuki Tjahaja Purnama to Host a TV Program

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Personal staff of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok, Ima Mahdiah (Imadya), conveyed that the former of Jakarta governor will host an interactive program after he was released from Mako Brimob prison.
According to Imadya, the program will be aired on TV. “He will host a talk show,” she said to Tempo, on Saturday, January 19.
Imadya said that Ahok or BTP and a television channel had signed a collaboration contract for a program hosted by the former Regent of East Belitung. However, she reluctant to mention the media who will air the tv program.
Founder of BTP Network said that after released from his jail time, Ahok will attend an exclusive interview with a TV station on January 26, 2019. The show was initiated by Metro TV Chief Director, Don Boscho.
Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok, has served a 2-year sentence in Mako Brimob for blasphemy case. Ministry of Law and Human Rights stated that Ahok will be released on January 24, 2019, after being granted with a total remission of 3.5 months.
