TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice presidential candidate Ma’ruf Amin is reportedly preparing for the vice presidential debate slated to take place on March 17, at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta.
The vice presidential debate will be the third of five series of debates scheduled by the General Elections Committee (KPU). The inaugural debate last night saw candidates in its complete formation with jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin versus Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.
“I’m collecting material to study because the topic on existing policies is likely brought up,” said Ma’ruf in his residence, Friday, January 18.

Ma’ruf said shedding light on the regulations of the Jokowi administration was an obstacle for him since he was not involved in the policy-making process.
Ma’ruf Amin will face Sandiaga Uno in a debate aired live for vice presidential candidates that will center on a number of issues, such as education, healthcare, employment, and socio-cultural issues.
