RSUI Opens for Public, Resistant to Earthquake up to Magnitude 9

TEMPO.CO, Depok - The Hospital of University of Indonesia (RSUI) has opened its medical service for public starting January 16. Head of UI public information office, Rifelly Dewi Astuti, said the institution offers special promotion until February 28.
According to Rifelly, RSUI provides outpatient services every Monday to Friday at 9 a.m to 4 p.m. “Patient can fill out an online registration form for outpatient services on http://bit.ly/registrasiRSUI,” Rifelly told Tempo, Thursday, January 17.
Three clinics are opened, namely public clinic, specialist clinic, as well as oral and dental clinic. The clinics include the surgeon, internal disease, children, ob-gyn, nerve, heart, nutrition, sexual, psychiatry, pulmonary, eyes, and medical rehabilitation.

UI Rector Muhammad Anis previously explained that the hospital has a capacity of 300 beds and is resistant to earthquake up to the measure of 9-magnitude. Additionally, the university hospital has a good mechanism of separation of infected patients to uninfected ones.
However, as of date, RSUI cannot cater to patients using BPJS health insurance and JKN-KIS or other assurance programs.
