Online Prostitution: 9 Transactions Traced Back to Vanessa Angel

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The East Java Police's special crime director Sr. Comr. Akhmad Yusep Gunawan said according to digital forensic data there were nine transactions of online prostitution involving beleaguered celebrity Vanessa Angel.
“Twice in Singapore, once in Surabaya, and 6 times in Jakarta,” said Akhmad at the East Java Police headquarters on Monday, January 14. Vanessa acted as a provider.
According to him, the nine transactions were facilitated by six individuals acting as pimps—two of whom were recently arrested, viz. Endang Suhartini and Tantri.

The value of each transaction reached Rp80 million, with Vanessa Angel receiving her share of Rp35 million while the rest channeled to the pimps.
Police investigators will use the findings to detemine the status of Vanessa Angel. When asked whether the celebrity could be named a suspect, Akhmad told journalists to be patient and await complete investigation's results.
