Jokowi Camp to Prepare National Speech After Prabowo`s Event

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Campaign Team (TKN) of Jokowi - Ma'ruf is currently preparing a national speech to counter an event held by the presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto. Prabowo would deliver national speech themed Indonesia Menang or Indonesia Wins today, January 14.
“We are preparing a similar event after that [Prabowo’s event],” said the Jokowi - Ma'ruf TKN deputy head, Abdul Kadir Karding, when Tempo met in Menteng, Jakarta, Sunday, January 13.
However, Karding stopped short to detail the event whether the campaign team or candidate who would present there. “It’s a secret. For sure, we prepare it after the event of Prabowo - Sandiaga,” He noted.
Prabowo Subianto would hold a national speech in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta at 19:00 local times. His running mate Sandiaga Uno said the speech would expose their vision and mission for the 2019 presidential election.
Both candidates are allowed to present their vision and mission independently in their own concept or format following the General Election Commission (KPU) that canceled such a plan on January 9, 2019, since the two teams did not come into an agreement on the event's technical issue.
