TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The senior investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Novel Baswedan demanded President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo establish a joint fact-finding team (TGPF) to unveil the case of the bomb threat against KPK leaders, as well as his acid attack case.
“KPK can form its own team, but it’s most proper should the team consist of people in charge. For example, maybe the president can create a fact-finding team if he wants,” said Novel in the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday, January 10.

Novel opined the team could comprise of people from all elements in a bid to expedite the disclosure of the terror against KPK.
As reported earlier, two KPK higher-ups Agus Rahardjo and Laode M. Syarif faced the bomb threat placed in front of their houses on January 9, 2019.
Novel was also a terror victim which his case had not yet disclosed. Two unidentified people splashed acid liquid to his face on April 11, 2017.
Novel Baswedan did want to make the speculation that the bomb threat against KPK leaders was committed by the same network which attacked him. According to Novel, establishing TGPF team is the most appropriate attempt to find the perpetrator.
