TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The General Election Commission (KPU) is finalizing the list of questions that will be presented in the 2019 Presidential Debate. KPU commissioner Pramono Ubaid said that the final list would be handed out to the two campaign teams of candidate pairs.
"We will send the list of the question today," said Pramono in Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Pramono explained that the list would consist of 20 questions related to four main issues, which are law, corruption, human rights, and terrorism. Five questions will be provided for each topic.
The first presidential debate is slated to take place on January 17, 2019, for both candidates of presidential and vice presidential pairs.
The KPU along with the two campaign teams decided to reveal the list of questions prior to the debate so the candidates could answer them in detail.
Arief explained there would be two models of questions during the debate; the open questions which the list will be given earlier and the close questions, that each candidate could ask a question to other candidates.
