SBY Set to Coach Prabowo Subianto in Upcoming Debate

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A number of senior politicians, including SBY, are set to assist and help prepare presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno in facing the upcoming presidential debate on January 17.
Director of the candidates’ debate material Sudirman Said said that Democrat Party’s Susilo “SBY” Bambang Yudhoyono will help polish Prabowo’s style of communication during the debate.
“SBY has the experience and will certainly provide feedback,” said Gerindra Party member Sudirman on Wednesday, January 9th.
SBY will reportedly share his experience in the 2004 and 2009 presidential debates and help formulate a concrete policy based on the shared vision and work program introduced by Prabowo – Sandiaga.
“The experience in winning a debate is really useful,” he said.
According to the Democrat Party’s spokesman Ferdinand Hutahaean, the presence of SBY will provide ample help for the presidential hopeful in creating a more concrete program or policy in the field of Law.
Otherthan SBY, he said that the help from National Mandate Party’s senior politician Amien Rais will also strengthen Prabowo Subianto’s performance in the debate.
