TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State energy company Pertamina lowers the price of non-subsidized fuel today following the declining trend of the global oil price and strengthening rupiah against the U.S.dollar.
Pertamina CEO Nieke Widyawati said the price adjustment was conducted based on the existing mechanism and regulation. "We have been coordinating with related institutions to give the best services for our customers," she said in a written statement on Friday, January 4.
The company’s retail marketing director Mas’ud Khamid said the new price of non-subsidized fuel would come into effect starting on Saturday, January 5.
The new price of Pertalite fuel is Rp7,650 per liter, Pertamax Rp10,200, Pertamax Turbo Rp12,000, Dexlite Rp10,300, and Dex Rp11,750 per liter.
The price adjustment is different in some regions as a result of regional fuel tax. Check the new fuel prices on Pertamina official website www.pertamina.com.
