  1. Park your vehicles farther than usual

Joining a membership of gym or pilates class may be hard for some. A physiology expert at Aberystwyth University, Dr. Rhys Thatcher suggests you should add exercise on your daily activity, such as park your vehicles farther than usual and avoid using an elevator.

  1. Consume 30 types of foods per week

A researcher at King's College London's department of nutritional sciences, Dr. Megan Rossi, said people should consume 30 different plant-based foods in a week to improve the health of intestine.

The bacteria in our stomach have a vital role in our body’s health. Several ills such as allergies, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease, Parkinson, and even depression are all related to the bacteria in the gut.

  1. Smile more often

Other than exercising in a gym each week – that many people failed to keep up with the schedule – Dr. James Gill, a researcher at Warwick Medical School suggests being more focus to feel joy. Make a change in your daily life to smile more often. Identify what makes you unhappy and try to recover it.

  1. Have enough sleep

Having enough sleep is indeed important to have a healthy life, but it needs a strong commitment to get 7 to 9 hours of night’s sleep. Sleep deprive may affect our cognitive function, such as decision making, says Dr. Gavin Buckingham, senior lecturer in sport and health sciences at the University of Exeter.

Several ways to improve your sleep quality as your 2019 resolution are; try to avoid caffeine and gadget before you go to bed.
