Pondok Cabe Bus Station Serves Trip to Soekarno - Hatta Airport

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Greater Jakarta Transportation Agency (BPTJ) Bambang Prihantono, today, inaugurated the type A bus station, Pondok Cabe, Tangerang, which will serve travel to Soekarno-Hatta Airport and some other bus stations in Jakarta.
“Now the Tangerang community does not need to use private vehicles if they want to travel to Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” Bambang said at Pondok Cabe Station, Monday, December 31.
Bambang explained that eight units of the JA Connection fleet managed by Damri would serve from the Pondok Cabe Station. The TransJabodetabek Premium and Regular buses are also operated from this station.
The bus ticket will use the e-money payment system. “We are developing this system,” Bambang said.
The payment system from Pondok Cabe Bus Station will be integrated with other modes of transportation, sot the passengers do not need to use a different card.
Besides bus, public minivans will also operate at the station, Bambang said, adding that he was still synergizing with relevant stakeholders.
The bus fleet serving Jakarta destinations includes 10 buses for Pondok Cabe – Senen route and 15 buses for Pondok Cabe - Kampung Rambutan route.
Bambang said the TransJakarta bus also serves 20 buses for Tosari/Bundaran HI bus stop and 10 buses for Kuningan route. To serve the passengers to Bekasi, Ciawi, and Cikarang, five buses are set for each destination.
