TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil reshuffled the directors and commissioners of Kertajati Airport, on Friday, December 28, after previously changed the directors of Bank BJB.
Ridwan Kamil said the criteria of candidates for directors and commissioners are those who can ensure that the Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) will reap profits.
“Most of these BUMDs suffer losses; no benefit, except Bank BJB. So, I rearranged it and I have to provide new indicators,” said the former Bandung Mayor.
The governor said that he would monitor the selection process of directors and commissioners of all West Java BUMDs.
“I monitor directly to ensure the 5-year plans can be achieved. It is fine if the old officials turn out to be competitive and can be convincing,” said Ridwan Kamil.
The Regional Assistant for Economics and Development of West Java, Eddy Iskandar Muda Nasution said, Kertajati Airport was not included in the category of loss-suffer BUMD.
“But it is almost critical for it is due to pay off its debts next year,” he said in Bandung, Friday, December 28.
