Post Sunda Strait Tsunami; Banten Sets Call Center Service

TEMPO.CO, Serang - Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Diskominfo) of Banten Province has set a call center service on 0811 8430 300 in the wake of Sunda Strait tsunami.
The agency’s head of informatics application and public communication, Amal Herawan Budhi, said the hotline number would help the public to obtain information related to the handling of disaster's aftermath.
“We have set several call center numbers, so the integrated handling of post-disaster will be carried out by Central Government, Banten Provincial Administration, Pandeglang District Administration, and communities,” Amal told Tempo Thursday, December 27.

The public, Amal explained, could contact the call center number to drop relief aids which would be then distributed. Also, the Sunda Strait tsunami victims could ask for help through the service.
Banten government has opened Banten logistics center located in Plaza Aspirasi KP3B, Serang City. The center provides call center service on 0878 0840 5764 or 0878 0840 5765.
Meanwhile, in the location affected by Sunda Strait tsunami, the provincial administration has also established two media centers, namely Labuan Post in PGRI building, Labuan, Pandeglang district, with a hotline number 0812 9471 122 and in the office of Banten Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Serang City.
